Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Krypsis Network, on krypsis.network or app.krypsis.network. Using Krypsis means you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Krypsis.

What Krypsis is

Krypsis Network is a privacy layer for swaps and sends on Robinhood Chain. It looks for the most liquid route across its partners and their CEX routes, shows you a price, and gives you one address to deposit to. A third party route provider runs the route and delivers the tokens to the address you gave.

There is no account. You do not register, you give us no name and no email, and you do not need a wallet. A session in your browser keeps your swaps yours. The privacy policy says what it holds and how long it lasts.

Krypsis offers the features, routes and assets the app shows when you use it. Today that is Swap, which turns one asset into another, and Send, which moves one asset to another address, through the Private and No Wallet Connect routes described in the docs. Payment is not live.

Features, routes, assets and program rules may be added, changed or removed. These terms apply to all of them.

What Krypsis is not

Krypsis is not an exchange, a broker, a bank, a custodian or a wallet. It does not hold your funds, hold your keys, set a price of its own, settle a trade or run a market.

Krypsis does not execute on a decentralized exchange, and it does not let you add a token by its contract address. Only the assets listed in the app can be swapped or sent, and only on Robinhood Chain.

Krypsis never asks for a private key or a seed phrase. If you connect a wallet, you are asked to sign a message that proves the address is yours, and one more if you sign up for Rewards. A message is not a transaction. It costs nothing and moves nothing.

Who can use Krypsis

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you use Krypsis for a company, you must be allowed to bind it, and these terms then apply to it.

You may not use Krypsis if you are named on a sanctions list kept by any government, if you act for someone who is, or if you are in a country under an embargo or under comprehensive sanctions.

Knowing whether using Krypsis is lawful where you are is your responsibility. Krypsis does not check it for you. Your network may tell us the country a request came from, and we pass that on to the route provider, but we do not block by country. Do not treat the absence of a block as permission.

Do not use a VPN, a proxy or any other tool to get around a restriction that applies to you. Doing so breaks these terms.

No advice and no tax reporting

Nothing on Krypsis is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. No price, route, estimate or sentence on Krypsis is a recommendation to do anything.

You choose what to swap, when, and with whom. You carry the result, including any loss.

Krypsis reports nothing to any tax authority. Working out what you owe, and reporting it, is yours to do. Keep your own records: the swap record on our side is deleted after 7 days.

The address you give

You type the address that receives the tokens. Krypsis checks that it has the shape of an address on Robinhood Chain. It cannot check that the address is yours, that it is the right one, or that anything can move funds out of it again.

A transfer on chain is final. Once it is sent nobody can call it back: not you, not us, not the route provider. If you give the wrong address, the tokens go there.

The same holds for your deposit. Send exactly the amount shown, in the asset shown, on Robinhood Chain. A different amount or a different asset may not be swapped at the quoted price. It becomes a refund request, which follows the route provider's process and takes longer than a swap.

Check the asset, the amount and the address before you send anything. That check is yours alone.

Routes and third parties

Krypsis does not run the swap. A third party route provider issues the deposit address, moves the funds and delivers them. A route may pass through one or more exchanges and through intermediate assets. Which ones is the route provider's choice. Its own terms apply to that work, alongside these.

Robinhood Chain, the wallet you connect, any wallet connection service and every exchange inside a route are third parties too. None of them is owned or controlled by Krypsis. Their terms, fees and outages are theirs.

Krypsis never switches route on its own. The route provider can fall back from Private to the No Wallet Connect route after you press Swap. Before you deposit, the swap screen says so and stops. After a deposit, it says so and keeps tracking.

A swap can be delayed, can stop for review, or can fail. Krypsis does not promise that a swap will complete, or when.

Quotes, fees and price

A quote is an estimate. It lives about 20 seconds and refreshes while you type.

The route's fee is already inside the amount you see. Krypsis adds nothing on top of the quote.

Network fees are separate and are yours. Sending your deposit costs whatever the network charges at that moment, and your wallet pays it.

The amount delivered follows the route at the moment it runs, so it can differ from the quote. Minimums, maximums, fees and times come from the route and can change without notice.

A fixed rate is not available yet, so its switch in Preferences is locked.

No custody and no recovery

Krypsis never holds your funds, at any point. Your deposit goes to a one time address issued for that swap by the route provider, and the tokens travel from there to the address you gave. There is no Krypsis balance and no Krypsis wallet holding anything of yours.

Because Krypsis holds nothing, Krypsis cannot give anything back. If you send to the wrong address, send the wrong asset, or send an amount outside the route's limits, we cannot reverse it.

Write to us with the error ID or the swap ID shown on the swap screen and we will pass on what we can. A refund is the route provider's process and its outcome, not ours, and it takes longer than a swap.

Limits and availability

Quotes, swaps and sends are guarded by strict limits against spam, bots and abuse. Quoting at random, in bulk or with no intent to trade reaches them fast. The limits are tightest at launch and ease gradually as Krypsis grows.

The service is offered as it is and as it happens to be available. Krypsis may change it, pause it or stop it at any time, with or without notice.

A swap record is kept for 7 days so the page can follow the swap, then it is deleted. A recovery link moves a swap to another browser once, for up to 7 days. Anyone holding that link can see the swap, so keep it to yourself.

Most failures show an error ID that starts with KN. Send it to us and we can find what happened.

Rewards and the KRYPSIS token

Krypsis Rewards points have no cash value. They are not transferable, and they are not a promise of tokens.

The rules of the program, including the allocation, the epochs, the points for volume, the holder boost and the claim window, are published in the docs and on the rewards page. They may change, with notice there.

A claim is a transaction on chain. Rewards not claimed within an epoch's claim window can no longer be claimed and can be burned.

We can exclude points earned through abuse, wash trading, automated activity, or several wallets, sessions or network addresses used to farm points or to get around a limit.

The KRYPSIS token is not an investment offer. Nothing on Krypsis is an offer to sell KRYPSIS or an invitation to buy it. Buybacks and burns depend on Krypsis Network revenue.

The KRYPSIS token contract and the other Krypsis contracts are published in the docs. Do not trust a token or a contract claiming to be Krypsis at any other address.

Prohibited use

Use Krypsis lawfully. Do not:

  • use funds that come from crime, fraud or any other unlawful activity
  • launder money, finance terrorism or evade sanctions
  • transact for a sanctioned person, or for anyone in an embargoed country
  • use a VPN, a proxy or a similar tool to get around a restriction that applies to you
  • get around a limit, for example with several sessions, network addresses or wallets
  • farm Rewards points through wash trading, several wallets or any other abuse
  • break, overload, probe or disrupt Krypsis or the servers behind it
  • use a robot, a scraper or a script to take content or to make requests at scale
  • try to take data or funds belonging to another person
  • try to work out who someone is from a swap or from chain data
  • resell, mirror or rebuild Krypsis as your own service
  • give us false information, or impersonate Krypsis or anybody else
  • use anything on Krypsis to train a machine learning model

We can refuse or stop serving a request that looks like any of these, with no notice and with no reason given.

Intellectual property and feedback

The Krypsis name, the K mark, the writing, the artwork, the layout and the code of Krypsis belong to Krypsis or to whoever licensed them to us. Using Krypsis gives you no right to any of it.

You may read these pages, print a copy for yourself, and quote a short passage with attribution. You may not copy Krypsis, rebuild it, use the mark, or use the material commercially without written permission from us.

Asset names and logos shown in the app belong to their own owners and are there to identify the asset.

If you send us an idea, a bug report or a suggestion, we may use it and we owe you nothing for it. You keep whatever rights you had in it. Do not send us anything you are not free to send.

Disclaimer

Krypsis is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind, stated or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a purpose, title or non infringement.

We do not warrant that Krypsis will be available, correct, uninterrupted, free of error or free of harmful code. Prices, times, limits and route information can be wrong or out of date. Verify anything before you rely on it.

We are not responsible for what a third party does: the route provider, an exchange inside a route, the chain, your wallet, your browser, your network or your device.

We are not responsible for events outside our reasonable control, including outages at a provider or a host, network failures, attacks, changes in the law, or acts of nature.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Krypsis and the people who work on it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, for lost profit, lost opportunity, lost data or lost goodwill, however it arises, even if we were told it could happen.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a loss of funds that follows from the address you gave, the amount you sent, the route you chose, a third party's failure, or anything already on chain.

Nothing here removes a liability that cannot be removed under the law that applies to you.

Indemnity

You agree to cover Krypsis and the people who work on it against any claim, loss, cost or reasonable legal fee that comes from your breach of these terms, your use of the service, your breach of a law or a sanctions rule, the source of the funds you used, or your infringement of somebody else's rights.

Suspension and termination

We can refuse, pause or stop serving you at any time, with or without notice and with or without a reason, including when we believe these terms have been broken or the law requires it.

You can stop using Krypsis whenever you like. There is nothing to close, because there is no account.

Stopping does not undo a swap already running. The sections that by their nature continue still apply after you stop, including those on the address you give, custody and recovery, intellectual property, the disclaimer, the limitation of liability, indemnity and disputes.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top says when it was last changed.

Using Krypsis after a change means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using Krypsis.

Disputes

Before anything formal, write to organization@krypsis.network with the error ID or the swap ID from the swap screen and a line about what happened. Most things are settled there.

How to reach us

organization@krypsis.network. Include the error ID if one was shown, or the swap ID from the swap screen, and one line about what you were doing.

We read everything. Please be civil with whoever answers. We will end a conversation that turns abusive.

Krypsis never asks for your private key or your seed phrase, and never asks for them by email. Any message that does is not from us.
